The Sower

Psalms 126:6 "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."

As Pastor, I have been doing an overview study of the Minor Prophets during our mid-week service. Reading and preaching the truths and principles found in them has made me so thankful for the Word of God. I thought of the millions of people without the Word of God. The Minor Prophets would have no relevance to them, because they have never been presented with them, read them, nor even heard of them. Most of those without the Word of God have never heard about our precious Lord Jesus, let alone the Minor Prophets. We are so blessed to have His Word in our language and at our fingertips at any moment. My heart goes out to those without God's Word. It is staggering to consider that half of our world has never had the privilege and opportunity to hear and possess the written Word of God. How shall they hear without a preacher? How beautiful are the feet of those that preach the Gospel! It is our responsibility to preach the Gospel to the entire world.

I must have a willingness to go, and then go! I must have a willingness to pray, and then pray! I must have a willingness to give, and then give! I must have a willingness to provide, and then provide! For us at Bearing Precious Seed, we must have a willingness to print, and then print. Our task, yours and mine, is too large for any one of us to accomplish, but not to large for all of us to accomplish. We need each other. You labor in your Jerusalem; I labor in mine. Your Jerusalem may be my Judea, Samaria, or even my uttermost. Let each of us do our part to accomplish His command of going into all the world. What the world needs is Christ–Christ preached, Christ provided to them through His written Word, and Christ lived through each of our lives.

If we can assist you in your Jerusalem, Judea/Samaria, and uttermost responsibilities, please allow us to help you. We want to partner with folks who are actively involved in reaching the world with Christ and His Word.

In His work together,
First Baptist Church
